NUO Hotel Launches in Lido with Soft Opening Ceremony

The latest luxury hotel to take on the Beijing market, NUO Hotel Beijing, soft launched at a press event held on Friday of last week. Talk around the hospitality scene suggests that NUO will be a big contender for other high-end, design-oriented openings such as Rosewood Beijing. Needless to say, we are excited.

The picture above shows BTG Chairman Mr. Duan Qiang (middle) together with CEO of Kempinski Hotels S. A. Mr. Alejandro Bernabe and NUO’s honorary art consultant Mr. Zeng Fanzhi at the soft opening ceremony.

Inspired by Ming Dynasty stylistic elements, and named for the Chinese word for promise, NUO has 438 rooms and suites, seven F&B outlets, and a range of spa, fitness, and event facilities. The hotel also boasts a high-performance air purification system and electric car charging stations, as part of its LEED gold-level certification in environmental building design.

F&B outlets include an all-day dining restaurant, a Japanese restaurant, a Cantonese restaurant, and both a dedicated bar and lobby lounge.

NUO is located at 2a Jiangtai Lu, just across the road from Lido Plaza. We'll be back with a full review once they are up and running.
