First Glance: Tiago in Indigo Mall
Beijing is not exactly awash with quality, mid-range Italian restaurants so those who are on the hunt for good value pasta will be pleased to here about Tiago, a new Italian restaurant on the first floor of Indigo Mall.
Tiago's concept is simple: classic Italian restaurant dishes, executed well, served in an open, modern space. There's nothing necessarily groundbreaking here, but all the dishes we tried were fresh and tasty (they're clearly proud of their ingredients, since they are all displayed on a pretty cool feature wall that runs the length of one side of the restaurant) and above all good value: pastas run from RMB 38-69 and 12in pizzas from RMB 69-99. Be sure to try the wild mushroom salad (RMB 48) and light-as-a-feather homemade tiramisu.
