Burger Cup Sweet 16 Candidate Union Bar and Grille Reopens with Expanded Menu, Seating
A quick trip to visit some of the the 16 contestants left in the Beijinger's 2014 Burger Cup revealed that Union Bar and Grille, one of last year's top burger-slingers and this year's #3 seed in Bracket C, reopened their doors this week in Tai Koo Li with a renovated seating area in front and an expanded menu.
Joining their burgers and other goodies are a new range of dishes, including a Pastrami Reuben sandwich with fries and cole slaw (RMB 85) and a Grilled Chicken and Asparagus wrap (RMB 72).
New desserts include the tantalizing Coconut Pie with Vanilla Custard (RMB 55). Those familiar with the venue will find most of their old favorites still on the menu and its main dining room freshend up but otherwise unchanged.
Be sure to give their burgers a try ... and if you've already made up your mind on which of Beijing's burgers rock the most, head on over to the 2014 Burger Cup voting page and let register your two cents' worth here.
