A Charlie Brown Christmas

There will be a live performance of the beloved TV special at The Bookworm this weekend. This is looking to be a sell-out with all the proceeds going to charity. Check out our interview with the boy Charlie himself.

Handel’s Messiah
Beijing's tenth Handel celebration with a free bus to the performance from the Kempinski Hotel. Hallelujah!

Congregation of the Good Shepherd
A good old fashioned children's Christmas pageant.

Basically Beethoven Christmas Carol
Carol singing billed as “an open mic for classical musicians,” but rest assured, their will be booze (if mulled wine counts) and minced pies.

December 14-23
Snow White
The audience will be encouraged to cheer and boo as Snow White discovers the magic of Christmas. The heckling happens at National Olympic Sports Center Theatre or catch the debut showing on December 7 at the British School of Beijing.

International Christmas Concert
BICF present music, dance and performances of cultures from all around the world at Haidian Christmas Church. This is open to all.

December 16
Mulled Wine & Movies
Our friends at The Hutong will be serving mulled wine during a screening of It’s a Wonderful Life. The following week they will be serving Chinese Winter food and screening A Christmas Story. Has anyone thought to serve eggnog yet?

December 24 Christmas Eve Dinner Dance Beijing Ballroom presents a Christmas Eve dance. They're featuring an "all-you-can-eat" buffet beforehand.
