Voting is now open in the Beijinger's Ninth Annual Reader Bar & Club Awards. We want you to tell us what you think of the city's nightlife scene.

Our panel of 200 nominators obviously didn't rate Global Club as highly as you - it was not in the top eight vote-getters on their write-in ballots - but you can vote for it in the Reader Bar & Club Awards as a write-in candidate.

As the city's music scene has grown so much we've decided to separate the music-based awards from the bar & clubs. We'll be celebrating everything that sounds good in Beijing in a distinct music awards later in the year. Look out for details in the coming months.

Not sure if Revolution should be in the same category (cheap drinks) as bars like Kai bar or smugglers..considering the difference in quality (drinks especially!!!) and the effort he put into the bar,etc it's a bit of an insult really...I think the reasonable priced category would have been sufficient
