Get Your Fill! Rib-Sticking Fare at Shunyi's Filling Station

The Filling Station brings the American diner experience to Beijing – but not a kitschy ’50s-style joint. Think of it more as a classic, no-frills roadside stop, complete with a real live Harley front and center. Sharing a space with The Green Cap, the restaurant offers up hearty meals in gluttonously American helpings.

The hamburgers (RMB 58) are juicy, but the showstealers are the ribs ‘n’ ribs (RMB 150), or chicken ‘n’ ribs (RMB 188). The remainder of the menu features everything from salads to sandwiches and steaks.

They also serve breakfast on the weekends. The Filling Station may not draw crowds from downtown, but certainly caters well to the local scene of families – the playroom is usually teeming with rambunctious youngsters on the weekends – and teachers from the neighboring WAB.
