Blowing (Away) in the Wind: Bob Dylan Most Definitely Cancelled
True to form and predictably enough, Bob Dylan's April 4 concert in Beijing has been nixed by the Ministry of Culture, according to The Guardian, The Telegraph and The New York Times. Wary of Dylan's counterculture past, authorities are once again trying to prevent a repeat of "The Bjork finale" in Shanghai two years ago.
This, of course, does not bode well for the Mainland organizers who very foolhardily purchased the rights to put on the show from a Taiwanese promoter for USD 400,000. Will they ever learn? Maybe not soon enough.

Re: Blowing (Away) in the Wind: Bob Dylan Most Definitely ...
how can it be cancelled if it was never confirmed to beging with? There were no tickets sold, no official listing on his Bob-ness' website or whatsoever, just a tentative dates announcement.
Too easy to blame CN on this one... story got scapegoat written all over it.
