Our Final Midi Post

It's all off until October folks. After first announcing it was on, then maybe off, then certainly off and then yesterday giving details about an alternative and hastily organized Utopia Party on the grounds of the Midi school, we can now finally inform you that nothing Midi-related will be taking place over the May break. According to organizers, Zhang Fan has decided to cancel the party because he believes it would be wrong to celebrate after so many people were killed and injured in yesterdays horrific train crash in Shandong province. However, it seems more likely that the party was called off due to the likelihood that it would descend into chaos as thousands of festival goers attempted to squeeze into a small venue.

Suffice to say, we're tired of trying to keep up with what's going on and promise to not raise the topic of Midi until after the Olympics when we'll give you a roundup of who'll be performing at the festival in October.
