Menswear brands Principle M and Radiance Blue have teamed up for a pop up shop event at the Four Seasons Hotel that's packed with not only their new fall and winter collections and niche Scotch whiskeys, but a series of workshops that are meant to guide Beijing's men as to how to lead an all-around stylish lifestyle, more specifically that of the "renaissance man." Principle M being a made-to-measure, modern suit brand and Radiance Blue a boutique nodding to the best of vintage Americana lifestyle, the "renaissance man" is one that weaves the best of menswear through the ages, thanks to the help of technology that gives access to past imagery. (Looks like those Portlanders nostalgic for the antiquities of the 1800's were on to something after all).
Fitting in with the theme, tonight, a spokesman from Zero Engineering will be on hand to talk about their line of retro motorcycles, and guests will get a taste of what one of the Japanese designed, US made custom bikes looks like alongside a selection of crisp denim and leather menswear.
If this sounds like your style, the lecture starts at 5pm tonight, but the shop will be installed at the Four Seasons until Sept. 21.
