All Your CHEERS Summer Fest FAQs Answered

The CHEERS Summer Fest is only one day away, with everything kicking off tomorrow (Sep 9) at noon! So, with that in mind here are the answers to some FAQs about the fest. 

What wines will be available at the CHEERS Summer Fest?
There will be over 100 different wines to try from a range of internationally renowned wineries hailing from over a dozen countries. You can check out a full list of all the wine vendors here.

Will there also be food available at the fest?
Yes! We have plenty of food that pairs perfectly with all the wine you’ll be enjoying, you can take a look at them all here.

How do I buy tickets?
You can buy early bird tickets by scanning the QR code below, they’re RMB 39 for a standard ticket or RMB 199 for a VIP Pass.

What do the standard early bird tickets include?
Early bird tickets include entry, a “tasting passport” – you can try ten wines for free  – plus a special wine glass holder lanyard and a surprise gift from CHEERS that won't be available if you buy tickets on the door.

What do the VIP Pass tickets include?
The VIP pass tickets include everything that a standard ticket does plus access to the VIP seating area, one exclusive high-quality wine tasting – a 45-minute session led by a foreign winemaker and a domestic WSET3 certified sommelier where you will try five selected red wines – and JSS vouchers.

Can I buy tickets at the door?
Yes you can buy tickets at the door, a standard ticket is RMB 39 and a VIP Pass is RMB 199.

How do I find my ticket after I’ve bought it and how do I get into the festival?
If you’ve already bought a ticket it’s best to prepare the QR code for the e-ticket in advance by following the instructions in the poster below. When you arrive at the venue, go to the “early bird ticket” entrance, show your QR code and you’ll be given a bracelet to enter the festival along with your wine glass and wine glass holder lanyard.

What time does the festival start? Is there a schedule of activities?
The CHEERS Summer Fest is running Sat-Sun, Sep 9-10 from noon till 10pm.

There will be entertainment on the stage throughout the day (see the schedule below) as well as entertainment throughout the festival, you can find out more about just what we have in store here.

What time are the VIP wine tasting sessions?
The VIP wine tasting sessions are on Saturday and Sunday at 2pm and 7pm and last 45 minutes. 

Is there shelter if it rains?
Yes, we have large tents set up so if it rains, there'll be shelter from the storm!

If I bought a ticket for Saturday can I use it for Sunday instead of vice versa?
Yes, you can use your ticket for either day of the festival.

Can I bring children to the fest?
Yes! Children under 1.2m are free of charge but please note that children will not be given the wine glass or wine glass holder lanyard.

Can we bring pets to the fest?
Yes, the venue is pet friendly so feel free to bring your furry friends! 

Where are the toilets located at the festival?
There are toilets located inside The Box, just go in and follow the signs.

How do I get to the festival?

Ride Hailing App

If you’re using a ride hailing app simply type in The Box and it will be the first option.

Taxi

If you’re taking a taxi, just show your driver this address朝阳区朝外大街12号THE BOX 朝外.

Subway

The nearest subway stop is Dongdaqiao, you’ll need to go out of Exit A and turn left, then cross the road and keep walking west until you reach the next set of traffic lights, you’ll be able to see The BOX across the road on the left-hand side. 

The Venue

The venue for CHEERS Summer Fest is Dongyue Temple Square, THE BOX Youth Energy Center, a new super trendy spot located close to Chaoyangmen that’s the perfect place for a fest. Only a seven minute walk from Dongdaqiao subway station, it’s easy and convenient to get to.
